Tampa, FL (May 29, 2025) – Steve Harris, a nationally recognized author, educator, and ISE Expo Advisory Board member for Learning Alliance School of Continuing Education (LASCE), will take center stage at ISE Expo 2025, held July 29–31 in New Orleans. With over three decades of telecommunications experience, Harris continues to drive innovation through his leadership in fiber optics, broadband infrastructure, and workforce development.
Harris has written extensively for Broadband Library Magazine and ISE Magazine, with articles including “Inside the Fiber,” “Fiber Optic Safety,” and “The Art & Science of Fiber Optic Troubleshooting.” He currently serves as Founder and Senior Vice President of Harris DigiTech Academy & Solutions and Senior Vice President of Continuing Education at Learning Alliance Corporation. His curriculum work has supported the training of thousands of telecom professionals.

This session will explore how artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), automation, statistics, and data science are transforming network operations. Harris will also unveil new SCTE Python and Data Analytics training programs and digital skill badges, offering attendees practical tools to implement data-driven strategies.
In addition, Harris joins fellow industry leader and Learning Alliance Corporation’s (LAC) Executive Director, Fred Arnold, for a high-impact Workforce Development Executive Insights Panel Discussion & Half-Day Program on Thursday, July 31, starting at 8:00 am . This collaborative session will dive into the current landscape of broadband workforce challenges and solutions, highlighting best practices to recruit, retain, train, and inspire the next generation of telecom professionals.
