With 145 hours of technical instruction and hands-on training, you'll be prepared to tackle field challenges and make an immediate impact in the utility and infrastructure industries.
Learn OSHA 10/30 standards, confined space entry, CPR/First Aid, and hazard mitigation to ensure safe job site practices.
Master techniques for identifying and marking underground utilities using magnet tools, utility color codes, and advanced locating methods.
Perform non-destructive digging using vacuum systems, air lances, and jackhammers while protecting existing infrastructure.
Prepare job sites with proper safety zones, then backfill and restore surfaces to professional standards after excavation.
Accurately complete required forms, logs, and data sheets for compliance and project tracking.
Operate and maintain vac trucks, compressors, saws, and diesel-powered machinery for daily job readiness.
