A ‘Military Friendly School’

Learning Alliance Corporation (LAC) has been officially recognized as a Military Friendly School. According to MilitaryFriendly.com, Military Friendly® Schools “Strive towards and succeed in the areas that matter most in helping veterans make the transition from the military to school and, ultimately, satisfying careers in the civilian world. Earning the designation shows that your school meets the minimum criteria.”.

Supporting US veterans has always been important to LAC and being officially recognized as a Military Friendly School is an honor.  “We believe that this is the very cornerstone of creating sustainable civilian opportunities for veterans. Because without demand for their talent, veterans are left with nothing more than periodic scraps of interest out of gratitude for their service; out of corporate social responsibility; not based in them providing real value to the organizations they join,” said Military Friendly

“As a Veteran myself, I work hard every day to ensure my brothers and sisters in arms have a pathway to success after their transition. It was hard for me to find something fulfilling after military life, so I understand the struggle. It is my hope that our dedication to our Veteran students provides a small chance at clarity for their career goals by giving them an opportunity to enter a high skill, high waged profession upon graduation.” said Fred Arnold, LAC Director of Operations.

LAC will continue to work hard to uphold the title of Military Friendly. These hardworking individuals deserve the chance to succeed and that is exactly what LAC aims to provide.

Military Friendly® is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community. The Military Friendly® Company survey investigates and identifies the organizations whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community is comprehensive in scope and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact. From hiring and career advancement to customer service and charitable investment, Military Friendly® Companies lead the way. Learn more at https://www.militaryfriendly.com/

Learning Alliance’s Director of Operations Fred Arnold wrote the  U.S. Department of Education in regard to LAC’s Dedication to the 8 Keys to Veterans’ Success. With so many of our students being veterans themselves, it is important that we highlight the Institutions backing of those who have served. With all that in mind, these are the 8 Keys to Veterans’ Success.

“Learning Alliance dedicates itself to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our institution. Providing high skill, high wage job potential for Veterans and their families is a true aspect of that mission and vision. When our colors show up, it means jobs. When our name is mentioned, it means futures. We are proud to accept the 8 Keys to Veterans Success and all that comes with it.”
Fred Arnold, Director of Operations, Learning Alliance Corporation
