Learning Alliance offers multiple Wireless Tower Technician programs ranging from Fiber Optics to Cell Tower Technician. Our programs are approved by the Commission for Independent Education in the state of Florida. We partner with small, medium and large Tower companies through out the United States to help bridge the gap between the trade skill shortage and the 20,000 job openings in the Wireless industry.

Wireless Tower Technician Fundamentals Program

The Wireless Tower Technician Fundamentals program readies an entry level student for the rigors of Tower duty. This 2 week boot camp at 10 hours a day prepares the student within a structured learning environment made up of blended learning: e-learning, lecture and hands on. Our motto is hands on first, so the student will demonstrate majority of their competencies in a hands on environment where 60% of the curriculum is done on a training or real cell tower. Our students obtain these important industry level certifications during their 130 hours:

  • Competent Climber
  • Competent Rescuer
  • OSHA 10 Construction/Telecom
  • CPR/First Aid/AED (American Heart Association)
  • Computer Literacy Certificate of Completion
  • Advanced Rigging Certificate of Completion
  • Capstan/Hoist/Crane Spotter Certificate of Completion

Wireless Fiber Optic Technician Fundamentals

The need for Fiber continues to increase as the need for faster data consumption increases. The wireless industry combines the newest wireless infrastructure (5G devices, distributed antenna systems) with a fiber backbone to deliver strong and consistent signal. Our Fiber Optic program prepares a student to join the wireless industry with a specialized focus on Fiber Optic cable systems. During the students training, they will earn these certifications:

  • Fiber Optic Association (FOA) certification for Fiber Optics
  • OSHA 10 Construction/Telecom
  • CPR/First Aid/AED (American Heart Association)

  • Bucket Truck OSHA Certificate of Completion
  • NCTI Broadband Quick Start Installer Certification

Broadband Digital Installer Program

Our Broadband Digital Installer presents background information and installation practices pertaining to digital TV, Data over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS®) high-speed Internet, PacketCable™ telephone and home automation services for the connected home. Broadband professionals will be instructed on what is involved in certifying the reliability of the drop for digital TV, high-speed Internet and telephone service, as well as step-by-step installation procedures for each service.

  • Duration: 304 Hours
  • Program Tuition: $10,000
  • Books: Cost of books are included in the tuition
  • Prerequisites: Candidates should be over 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and a High School Diploma or GED.

Broadband Fiber Digital Installer

This program allows a broadband digital installer to train and certify in the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) exam. Broadband professionals will be instructed on what is involved in certifying the reliability of the drop for digital TV, high-speed Internet and telephone service, as well as step-by-step installation procedures for each service. Because the DOCSIS and PacketCable technologies are unique to the broadband cable industry, the course provides extensive information about their origination and the advantages that each offer. Due to the rapid growth of and interest in home security and home automation within the broadband industry, this course covers the protocols that power the connected home as well as the connected home ecosystem.

Broadband Wireless Digital Installer

Combining our Broadband components into a digital wireless focus allows students to obtain skills in both Broadband infrastructure installation and cell tower communication. This program allows a student to gain a rounded telecommunications experience by providing hands on components to many broadband and wireless industry standards.

Business Information Systems

Our Information System program provides key technical skills needed for employees and managers to use technology to its fullest ability. Within this program, students will learn how to leverage the Microsoft Office suite and other technical programs as intelligent tools towards the management of job responsibilities.

Lean Supply Chain Optimization

This Lean Supply Chain Optimization training is designed to develop a professional who is well versed in the Lean Sigma Methodology who leads or supports improvement projects. This Lean Supply Chain Optimization class will provide a thorough understanding of all aspects within the phases of D-M-A-I-C. In addition, you will learn how to perform and interpret Six Sigma tools and how to use standard principles of Lean. The Cases used in this class will be covered more in depth, allowing the student to experience the level of detail a Green Belt would support. At this level the student is also encouraged to take a Certification exam to quantify their skills based on an industry exam.

  • Prerequisites: Yellow Belt Sigma class completed, or the Yellow Belt exam passed. Suggested – Students should be working in Lean Sigma environment for over 2 years.

Project Business Controller

This course is designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of the Project Management Processes – Project Initiation; Project Planning; Project Execution; Project Monitoring and Control; Project Closing. The emphasis is on integrating proven project management processes into an organization culture. The goal is to enable students to leverage an organization culture with project management processes rather than impose processes on the organization and lay a foundation for continuous improvement of the organization’s project management processes as the organization realizes the benefits of a project management methodology.
